1. Song of the Stars

SILMELIN and her MAHO mates found a parchment in TECH language. She felt compelled to decipher this relic. Thus, she left SILME in accordance with the instructions of her grandfather, the wise man of SILME and went to SHAVINKA HARBOUR, IRINGDIR.

2. A SELEN Wind

Silmelin met TON, an old misogyn IRINGDIR, who accepted to teach her the secrets of the prohibited TECH language. He took her to the science library where she gained access to many documents about TECH, Antaria's ancient civilisation, and many more… During about 3 Orma months, she had been learning the bases of TECH writing and grammar.

One day, Silmelin got caught by her landlady who found a TECH book in her things. The latter warned the AMANIC order. Silmelin fled immediately to TON's. Unfortunately, the latter can't do anything for her. However, he gave her his own TECH grammar notebook and wished her good luck. She had to leave the town. But, on her way, she got mobbed by 2 mercenaries apparently at the service of the Amans. While she was in an awkward position, a young man appeared and helped her to flee. The young man was a SELEN traveller named MENIOC. As they reached the gates of SHAVINKA HARBOUR, Silmelin tied a piece of cloth on MENIOC's bag both to thank him and to promise to help, should they meet again. Then, she left him.

3. Esssential Pilgrimage

Silmelin went secretly to the small village of Three Fountains in the North-East of Shavinka Harbour. Here she waited for her Master to come _ before her departure to Shavinka Harbour, she left him a letter, in which she had apologized to go off before the MAHO exam and she had asked for an appointment in this IRINGDIR village 1 month before the exam hoping for a second chance… She made her living secretly and waited desesperately for her Master to come. But time went by and he didn't come. As she was about to lose hope, a group of people came at the meeting point. It was her Master, Arren, with all her friends ! ! ! In the evening of his arrival, she told him her story, as she had a great confidence in him. Arren revealed to her his intention to take her and her friends in pilgrimage to Salinka in order to complete the initiation.

Once in SALINKA, all the pupils worked their MAHO seriously. Silmelin succeeded at the essential exam and also at the detection spell exam.

SILMELIN celebrated her success with her mates at SALINKA. Then, as they had to go back, she told Arren she would rather leave the group in order not to get them into trouble during the journey in IRINGDIR. Then, she decided to take the first ship to ARDAS.

4.The girl from IRINGDIR

As she arrived in ARDAS, Silmelin intended to go to the capital city. There, she would try to go into the science library in order to work on the TECH language. As she arrived in the city of THERIM where she wanted to take a break, she shoved a young blond-haired girl who was being insulted as she went out of a shop. The latter apologized and invited Silmelin to have a meal. The young girl named MANA is a Technician from IRINGDIR. She explained her boss had just fired her because she wanted to improve a mechanical process she had to maintain. The two girls immediately became friends. Mana suggested to shelter Silmelin by her family's. There, Silmelin learned that Mana (like her late father) liked her job as a TECHNICIAN but she's too creative. That often cost her chances to be taken on, because the TECH creativity is not allowed by law.

During her stay, Silmelin learned a lot about TECH with Mana, who soon became a very good friend. One evening, Silmelin told her story. Then, Mana revealed she dreamt to improve her brother's prothesis _ he had lost his right arm some years ago. Unfortunately, it's forbidden by law… Mana also told Silmelin about the presence of clandestine TECH dealers. Silmelin never heard about it, so Mana suggested to take her to Methia, the Ardas capital city, to meet some of them. Silmelin accepted, hoping she could get some interesting informations about the ancient technology. The day after, they went by train to the capital city. The streets are very animated an account of the winter fest. Fortunately, the girls went unnoticed through the crowd. Mana went along the stands and, after having gone past a oil-chested gladiator, she went hidden into a dark alley. At the end of the valley, they found the door of the clandestine shop Mana was searching for. Then, Mana asked the dealers the price of a TECH prothesis. Unfortunately, it's too expensive and Mana had not enough money to pay it. As she's a regular customer and the dealer considered her competent, he gave her some adresses in foreign lands so that she could find components and then assemble them herself. It's a very risky enterprise but Mana decided to attempt it however. Silmelin suggested to accompany her both to help and to gain more knowledge about TECH.

5. An unexpected help

On the boat to the capital city, Silmelin took stock of the informations she got thanks to Mana and her research about the parchment. Now, she has clearer sights about the basic functionning of TECH devices and their use. She also knows the parchment deals with a specific device and symbolic gems. However, her knowledge of the TECH language is still basic and lots of points need clarifying.

The first adress was in SALINKA. The girls took the boat to the capital island then Silmelin guided Mana to the Lake quarter. They found the adress quickly and came in without any problem thanks to the password the dealer from Methia gave to Mana. After Mana purchased (her purse emptied quickly), the girls went to an hotel. But the mercenaries they met first in IRINGDIR were there, investigating on another affair. They saw Silmelin in the dealers' quarters (Since she left IRINGDIR, Silmelin hadn't cared about covering her blood red hair.) The alert is given and the girls had to flee to the eastern harbour and take a boat to the AJIAN land quickly.

A young AQUAS girl who was at the harbour at the critical moment heard about their necessity to find a boat. The AQUAS needed a guide to go to the MENTHA continent call them on and suggested them to give them an AJIAN boat in exchange for guidance on the continent. The girls accepted and the three of them embarked just as the mercenaries were about to catch them.

They made the crossing without any problem . The beautiful AQUAS is a dancer named Althea. She travelled with a little marine raspberry (!)-shaped familiar named KIICHI. Althea told she planned to go to BORIAS land because she had been looking for her parents. The group decided unanimously they would go first to AJIAN for Mana's " purchase " then they would guide Althea to BORIAS.
